We’ve been selected as the beneficiary of this quarter’s Nickels for Nonprofits at Whole Foods on P Street!
Nickels for Nonprofits is an opportunity for customers to help support nonprofits in their community or help global events and organizations in need. Whole Foods Market refunds a nickel for every reusable bag used and brought in by the customer. Customers can accept the nickel or donate it to the featured non-profit.
Shop at Whole Foods on P Street, and bring your reusable bag! Let the cashier know that you want to donate the nickel you saved to Bread for the City, and you’ll be helping not only your environment but your whole community!

Moonlight Charity Golf Tournament
Please join us for the Moonlight Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Bread For The City on July 12, 2013.
There will be a great night of golf at the beautiful Reston National Golf Course in Reston, VA (www.restonnationalgc.com). The night will begin with dinner and networking while you peruse the silent auction items on display. There is a 9pm shotgun start just after the sun goes down. Each golfer will have a glow ball, glow necklace, an illuminated golf cart, and beverage cart service. Following the tournament there will be an awards presentation and networking reception with full bar service.
