Northwest Center

Metro

Bread for the City’s Northwest Center is closest to the Shaw-Howard University Metro stop on the green line. Take the R & 8th Street exit and walk to 7th Street between P and Q Streets. Visit http://www.wmata.com/ to find directions.

Roosevelt Bridge

1. Follow the bridge to Constitution Avenue.
2. Stay on Constitution Ave. until you come to 7th Street, NW.
3. Turn left on 7th Street, NW.
4. Go straight on 7th Street.
5. We are on the right between P and Q Streets.

Memorial Bridge

1. Cross the Memorial Bridge, staying in the left lane.
2. Go around the Lincoln Memorial.
3. Turn left onto 23rd Street, NW.
4. Turn right onto Constitution Avenue, NW.
5. Follow Constitution Avenue to 7th Street, NW.
6. Turn left onto 7th Street, NW. Stay on 7th Street.
7. We are on the right between P and Q Streets.

14th Street Bridge

1. Cross the 14th Street Bridge, staying in the lane second from the right.
2. Follow signs to 395. You will need to get all the way over to the right lane when you see signs for the House and Senate.
3. Keep following signs for 395. You will go into the 395 tunnel.
4. Take the Massachusetts Avenue exit.
5. At the first light, you will cross Massachusetts Avenue. Keep going straight.
6. You will cross K Street and New York Avenue.
7. You are now on New Jersey Avenue.
8. At P Street, turn left.
9. Go through a stop sign and one light.
10. At the next light, which is 7th Street, turn right.
11. We are on the immediate right between P and Q Streets.

From the Beltway (South of DC)

1. Take the 395N exit from the Beltway.
2. Follow the above direction for the 14th Street Bridge.

From the Beltway (North of DC)

1. From 495 take the Georgia Avenue South exit.
2. Follow Georgia Avenue through Silver Spring, MD into Washington, DC.
3. At Howard University, Georgia Avenue becomes 7th Street, NW.
4. Continue down 7th Street and look for Bread for the City on the left between Q and P Streets.

Southeast Center

From I-395 S

1. Take the I-295 S exit on your left.
2. Follow signs to Anacostia.
3. Take the Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue exit on the left, toward Anacostia Park.
4. At the light, make a left onto Good Hope Road, SE.
5. Make a left onto Minnesota Ave, SE.
6. Make the first right onto T Street, SE.
7. Turn right onto 17th Street, SE.
8. You will come up on the center from the rear on your right. It is a green cinderblock building located at the corner of Good Hope Road, SE and 17th Street, SE.
