Food Pantry

Last year staff and volunteers provided groceries to thousands of hungry people, an average of 4,985 households each month. We distribute grocery bags consisting of a three-day supply of food adjusted to household size.

Eligible clients are residents of either NW, SW, or SE DC, have incomes of 125% or less of the federal poverty line, and are either elderly, disabled or families with children. Eligible clients may receive food once each month at either center.
